“you do you”竟然是一句很地道英文，什么意思呢？

看到“You do you”你会不会以为这是个带“语病”（语法错误）的英文表达？它还真不是！在《剑桥词典》这样的权威词典中查到它的意思，英文解析是这酱紫的：

被用来形容一个人做他们认为最好的事情、最喜欢的事情，或者适合他们个性的事情

也就是说这句话完全可以按字面意思来理解，它就是指“做自己”的意思。

比如

I love you. You matter. You do you. I love you.

我爱你，你很重要。你就是你，我爱的就是这样的你。

Just do whatever you want to do.You do you.

做任何你想做的事吧。做自己。

另外，“you do you”也可以表示“我行我素”

比如

You never listen to others. I mean, you do you.
